AWP Installer Training — Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the AWP Installer Training app and admin website (the "App") collect and how AWP National, LLC dba Advanced Window Products ("AWP", "we") uses it.
Information we collect
- Account details entered by AWP: your name, mobile number and/or email address, whether you are an employee or subcontractor, and your roles (installer, trainer, administrator).
- Training records: the skills you practise, repetitions you or a trainer record, job and opening labels, notes, trainer reviews and reasons, sign-offs and certifications.
- Photos you take as evidence. The App removes photo metadata, including location, before upload. The App never requests access to your location.
- Sign-in and security data: one-time code requests (stored only as a secure hash), the IP address of each code request (to prevent abuse), active sessions on your devices, and an audit log of important actions.
How we use it
To sign you in, record and review training, verify competency, issue and manage certifications, keep an audit trail, and keep the App secure. We do not use it for advertising, and the App contains no advertising or tracking software.
Text messages
Your mobile number is used only to send the sign-in codes you request. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Who processes it
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers that process data only to run the App: Twilio (sending sign-in texts), Supabase (database hosting), Amazon Web Services (photo storage), Render (application server), Vercel (admin website) and Apple (app distribution). Within AWP, records are visible only to the people whose role needs them — for example your assigned trainers and AWP administrators.
Retention
Training records and evidence photos are kept as your training and certification history and are not deleted automatically. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; sessions expire after 30 days.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time, AWP can end your sessions on all devices, and you can reply STOP to stop text messages. To ask about, correct or add to your information, contact AWP below. Because the App is a record of training and certification, corrections are added as new entries rather than by deleting history.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, photos are stored privately and only shown through short-lived links, and access is checked on the server for every request.
